Next came Savannah & Josh (my sister and brother-in-law) as they prepared for little Malachi. (Still shooting 35mm film)
Carly & Aaron's shoot was my first real shoot with a Sony Alpha Digital SLR camera.. This shoot was extremely hard for me in that the day before my best friend passed away. My eyes were swollen from crying all night, and the sky was just as cloudy as my thoughts, but I was able to focus on them and not the sadness that surrounded me & take some (what I think are) great shots. It was good for me to get my grip on reality and face the world after such a dark night.
I often look over these pictures just to remember that day.
And of course, my sweet "little sister" Olivia, and her friend Autumn.
Remember Savannah and her very pregnant belly? Well say Hello to Malachi!!
